Getting Started
This month, I’m securing a lease on some local farmland and purchasing seeds. This is the space I’m renting in Brattleboro, Vermont at Brook Meadow Farm. I’ll be using half of this greenhouse and somewhere else in this picture plant my 1000 sq ft. garden full of vegetables, herbs and flowers. I am primarily focusing on selling plants, but I may also experiment with some bunches of herbs and cut flowers. My next post will hopefully be a seed haul. I am growing heirloom tomatoes, peppers, squash, melons, cucumbers, strawberries, some leafy greens, tons of herbs, and container flowers like marigolds and nasturtiums.
